Veet® CREAMS & MOUSSES

Q: How long will my skin stay smooth for if I use Veet® Cream/Mousse/Gel?
A: The hair removal creams work by dissolving the hair rather than cutting it, so hair regrowth is softer and not stubbly. Your skin will feel smooth for 3-5 days depending on hair regrowth.

Q: I have sensitive skin, which Veet® hair removal products can I use?
A: You can use the Sensitive Plus Creams which contain sensitive skin formulas.

During use, if you feel any tingling sensation, remove the cream immediately and rinse with cold water. If you have sensitive skin it is extremely important that you read all the precautions and the instructions on the pack before use.

Q: Do I need to use the spatula to apply and remove creams?
A: To apply Veet® Creams it is not necessary to use a spatula - you may use your hands if you wish. However, for removal, the spatula must be used. Hair removal creams weaken the hair by dissolving it at skin level then the mechanical action of the spatula breaks the hair. Without a spatula to perform this mechanical action, not all the hairs will be removed effectively .

Q: Is Veet® Mousse suitable for sensitive skin?
A: No, the mousse product uses slightly different ingredients to the Cream as it needs to spray through the nozzle. The formulation is suitable for normal skin, but not for sensitive skin that reacts to a high pH content. Clinical studies show that the product is not an irritant.

Veet® Sensitive Plus cream is recommended for people with sensitive skin.

Q: I use the Cream, but the Mousse causes me irritation, why?
A: A few Cream users who switch to Mousse may experience some irritation using the mousse. If this is your experience, please return to using Veet® Cream.

Q: The Mousse won't spray properly, why?
A: The Mousse can must be shaken well before use to mix ingredients. If it is still causing problems, shake during use. Although the nozzle is designed to work at all angles, it is best to have it either upright or upside down.

Q: The Mousse doesn't remove all the hair, why?
A: The Mousse can must be shaken well before use to mix ingredients. The foam dissolves the hair, but it is the mechanical action of the sponge, which helps break the hair away from the skin. Therefore it is important to massage the sponge in a circular action over the skin when rinsing away the Mousse.
